Central Alberta

Our Central Alberta operations, known as Guardian Ambulance Ltd. for over 40 Years, provide emergency medical services to the community in an Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) capacity. Interfacility transfers and emergency medical response are delivered with a strong commitment to exceptional patient care.

We strive to do our part in creating safe and healthy communities across the province by providing various levels of emergency medical services:

INNISFAIL

In Innisfail, we provide and operate three advanced life support (ALS) ambulances and two basic life support (BLS) ambulances. These ambulances provide service to the immediate area surrounding, and including, Innisfail, Alberta.

PONOKA

In Ponoka, we provide and operate two advanced life support (ALS) ambulances. These ambulances provide service to the immediate area surrounding, and including, Ponoka, Alberta.

WETASKIWIN

In Wetaskiwin, we provide and operate four advanced life support (ALS) ambulances. These ambulances provide service to the immediate area surrounding, and including Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

RED DEER INTERFACILITY TRANSPORT

In Red Deer we provide and operate two basic life support (BLS) ambulances. These ambulances provide interfacility transport (IFT) to patients in Central Alberta.

CALGARY INTERFACILITY TRANSPORT

In Calgary, we provide and operate a fleet of seventeen vehicles that provide basic life support (BLS) and non- emergency transport (NET) services to the City of Calgary and the immediate surrounding area.

We’re committed to supporting local communities. We are constantly striving to provide a positive and interactive atmosphere with the communities we serve. Whether that is through public support during fundraisers or by simply being approachable when in uniform to assist all those in need.
