East Central Saskatchewan

East Central Saskatchewan: Shamrock Ambulance Care and Crestvue Ambulance. Shamrock Ambulance Care serving Foam Lake, Rose Valley, Wadena and Wynyard and surrounding areas. Crestvue Ambulance serving Yorkton and surrounding areas.

Together, MHS West Crestvue and Shamrock proudly provide prehospital emergency care in one of the largest privately owned service areas in the province. With Crestvue responding to 4000 calls for service and Shamrock nearing 2700, and with cumulative kilometers travelled reaching 744,198, each respective service continues to provide exceptional care.

MHS West Crestvue and Shamrock strive to not only meet but exceed the expectations of the residents within their service area boundaries. These operations offer a tiered response of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) in urban and rural environments utilizing both on-site and standby deployment models of ambulances and paramedic response units (SUVs). Furthermore, each service believes in supporting the neighboring services and rendering mutual aid as necessary.

These services have a longstanding history of collaborative interactions with fellow protective services and are well-established figures within their local communities. Each service gives back to the communities in which they function by providing standby services to local high school football, and senior and junior hockey teams. Furthermore, staff can be found teaching first aid, CPR, TLR EMS, PART and advanced level courses such as ACLS, PALS and ITLS to not only the employees, but also the public.

MHS West Crestvue and Shamrock continue to play a vital role in the community and ensure that individuals receive the right medical attention at the right time. The services take immense pride in their work, drive by a deep commitment to protecting and improving the health of the community, fostering trust, and offering compassionate, professional care.
