Moose Jaw

Serving Moose Jaw, Central Butte, and surrounding communities

MHS West Moose Jaw proudly provides prehospital emergency care in the areas of Moose Jaw, Central Butte, and surrounding areas. Responding to over 6500 calls for service every year, our paramedics travel 300,000 km+ per year. MHS West Moose Jaw strives to deliver the highest calibre of paramedic services to the communities and residents we serve. This operation delivers a tiered response of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) in urban and rural environments utilizing both standby and on-site deployment. While not only providing advanced life support locally, MHS West Moose Jaw provides backup and response for our neighbouring services when called upon.

We are very busy serving our communities as well, providing public education via programs such as the PARTY program, high school driver training sessions, public first aid and CPR courses, as well as coordinating, supporting, and providing continuing education for our roughly 125 volunteer community first responders in south-central Saskatchewan. Community partnerships are key to the success of our paramedic service and we proudly provide paramedic service standbys for local hockey, football, and baseball teams, as well as work collaboratively with the Moose Jaw Fire Department, Moose Jaw Police service, PACT Team, SHA, and other allied services to continue to support the community.
